In concomitanza con il rilascio di Firefox 7 da parte di Mozilla ecco che arriva l'aggiornamento di Oxygen KDE.
Oxygen KDE 3.5.1 è stato infatti rilasciato quest'oggi e per l'occasione è stato anche aperto un sito internet dedicato che lascia presagire gustose novità.
Per chi non lo sapesse Oxygen KDE è un pacchetto che comprende un tema per Firefox in stile KDE ed un addon che permette di customizzare questo tema in modo da poter integrare Firefox alla perfezione su KDE.
Come dicevo poco fa assieme al nuovo rilascio che rende Oxygen KDE compatibile con Firefox 7 è stato aperto un sito internet dedicato al progetto raggiungibile al seguente indirizzo http://oxygenkde.altervista.org/ dove è possibile vedere due nuovi progetti ad esso collegati ovvero Oxygen KDE for Thunderbird ed Oxygen KDE for Amsn.

Due nuovi progetti per integrare Thunderbird e Amsn in KDE che verranno rilasciati prossimamente.

Ma vediamo cosa c'è di nuovo in Oxygen KDE 3.5.1 (firefox 3.6 - 7.x)
  • fixed toolbar buttons padding (Windows)
  • fixed button box background color when the window is maximized (Windows)
  • fixed height with "plain tabs" and only one tab open
  • added "autodetect tabs style"
  • you can read now the tutorial "how to hide the title bar" in offiline mode too
  • the new window popus will not hide the tab bar- (USEFUL WHEN WE HIDE THE TITLE BAR IN KDE,TO CLOSE POPUPS EASILY)
