La SFScon (South Tyrol Free Software Conference) è una conferenza internazionale sul Software Libero e l'edizione del 2012 si svolgerà il 16 Novembre 2012 presso il TIS innovation park a Bolzano.

Il Software Libero è una tematica di grande rilievo in Alto Adige e ha dimostrato sul territorio la propria importanza sia per le imprese, che per la Pubblica Amministrazione.

Per sostenere il management e gli esperti a operare scelte sulle infrastrutture IT, la conferenza ha presentato diversi casi di successo e ha voluto contribuire a creare sinergie tra le imprese, le istituzioni, gli enti di ricerca e sviluppo, nonché di formazione.

La SFScon è un'iniziativa del Free Software Center South Tyrol® dell'Area Free Software & Open Technologies del TIS innovation park volta a sostenere l'utilizzo del Software Libero nel mondo economico, per il raggiungimento sul territorio di un più alto grado di innovazione e di una maggiore competitività.
